Born and raised in North Queensland, I commenced work as a high school teacher with Education Queensland in the Cairns region, before returning to University to pursue my interest in Finance. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statisitics, I undertook a traineeship with the National Stockbroker Credit Suisse and completed studies toward the Graduate Diploma with the Securities Institute (now Finsia). I joined RetireInvest Townsville as a para panner in 1997, becoming an Authorised Representative in November 1998 and have worked with RetireInvest since that time. I enjoy providing holistic planning solutions, in particular structuring tax effective income for retirees using direct shares.
